What motivated you to join CLEAN EARTH? 

I think it is important to help the region to decarbonize as quickly as possible and help make that process equitable and efficient, two goals that are often overlooked when it comes to spending on different programs. 

What aspect of your research do you find most valuable for the people and communities? 

We try to identify to improve the social dimension of decarbonization policies such as how to encourage different groups to act whether it is by communication or different incentives. It is also important that resources for decarbonization not simply contribute to the goal in some way, but that they contribute in the largest ways possible. Sometimes the most efficient and effective approaches are not the most well-known approaches.
