In December 2022 we hosted a two-day virtual/in-person grant proposal workshop in response to the upcoming DOE call on Smart Grid Grants, “Bill-Grid Resilience and Innovation Partnerships (GRIP)”, under FOA 0002740.
We plan to respond to the following topics, which requires collaboration between industry, academic and state agencies.
About the workshop:
- The workshop will include invited industry short presentations on specific needs related to smart grid topics relevant in the DOE call, research presentations from academic institutions involved on research and unique expertise – followed by a roundtable discussion on formulating proposals.
- The first day was devoted to learning about and discussing industry needs and the synergistic role of the university capabilities. The second day of the workshop focused on the proposal development, which was limited to a smaller group of academics and a few industry representatives.
